Vincent Walker - Board Member
FOR MIND INFLUENCE ATTITUDE INC
With a career that spans decades in consultative sales in the areas of financial services and advertising, Vincent Walker received NASD Series 6 and life and health licenses. He sold stock and bond mutual funds, and life insurance with companies including The Prudential and Metropolitan Life.
In addition, in the advertising market, he sold billboard and print ads with companies including AdCart and Afrique News Magazine. He also lead business development with Publications entitled West of the Ryan Current News Magazine. His work can be seen on the cover of South Shore Drive Magazine.
His work as a photographer captured many memorable events for his clientele. Photography led to fillmmaking and as a result Vincent is licensed as a producer with CAN TV. Upon completion of the Digital Story Telling Program at the University of Chicago’s Logan Center, he earned a production certificate. His work includes documenting many legends in Chicago in legal, Political and entertainment domains.
As a chess instructor for 12 years, on behalf of Youth Development Systems, he instructed school age children in various educational institutions. He currently volunteers to instruct at a senior center.
His civic responsibilites included being a precinct captain, community organizer, and facilitator for various communities in Chicago.
As a content creator, Vincent commits much of his me to photography, videography, and their link to computer technology. Having studied computer science and photography in college, he’s witnessed the synergy in the two disciplines that use interdependency where computers require the content that photography provides and photography requires computer technology for processing its current format.
